Bob is not only a Realtor®, but also a licensed broker, and has been selling real estate in Ventura County for nearly 30 years. Over his career he has owned an escrow company, a real estate firm, and was an appraiser for the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers, which qualified him to speak as an expert witness in court cases as to the values of properties. He is licensed as a real estate broker in Nevada, and is an MLS member in the Bakersfield, Ventura County, Conejo and Santa Barbara boards. Bob has been a consistent top-producer for Troop Real Estate year after year, is knowledgeable in 1031 exchanges, and has experience in all aspects of residental and commercial real estate.

As a young boy growing up in Canada, it was time spent out in the ocean, deep-sea fishing with his father, that Bob Dickran remembers most clearly. He can still recall in vivid detail the sea splashing on his face, the slow and steady pace of their small boat as they trolled the wide-open ocean, and the surge of excitement at the mere prospect of bringing home "the big one." But more than the adrenaline-pumping moments of deep-sea fishing, it was the quiet time spent talking with his father about life, about little things, that Bob enjoyed most.

And while those days on the Canadian coastline are long gone now (his family moved to Southern California when Bob was just 13), Bob will tell you they are anything but a faded memory. For that was "quality time" when he was afforded his busy father's undivided attention, and where he learned most about the person he wanted to be. "We enjoyed a strong family bond," explains Bob. "Probably because we always made a point to be there for one another."

Today, a husband and father of two grown children himself, he recognizes the importance of quality time and the difference it can make in the lives of others.
